With over 25 years of experience working with Wellington properties, he has a solid understanding of how the local weather and terrain impact buildings. This gives InQuest a real advantage when it comes to providing expert advice tailored to Wellington’s unique environment.
Adam founded InQuest out of frustration with the lack of meaningful information in building reports. He noticed many reports were filled with tick boxes, but lacked the substance needed for homeowners to make informed decisions. Driven by this, he set out to create something different – a practical, insightful service that helps clients protect their assets while contributing to the improvement of Wellington housing for generations to come.

With over 25 years of building industry experience in Wellington, Adams detailed knowledge of the methods and products used on the many different styles of Wellington homes is a major asset to our team.
He specialises in high-risk buildings and Weathertightness Investigations, helping our clients navigate the complexities of NZ Building Legislation and Regulation with a personable approach.
Adam continues adding to the industry as a transitional member of the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors and holds a Diploma in Building Surveying
Jamie is a Licensed Building Practitioner and Carpenter by trade with 25 years industry experience, predominately in residential building and renovations and additionally operates his own independent building company.
He has a military background and an ethically charged character. His experience in dissecting Wellington homes and ability to easily explain complex details in ways for clients to understand adds great value to his inspections.
Jodi heads up the business administration side of InQuest. She holds a degree in Public Relations and Business Management, and will likely be the first friendly person you chat with when you get in touch.
